Anime Expo 2009 Aftermath

So, I only went to the second and third day of AX, but it was definitely as much as I could handle. As I write this, the ending ceremonies should be underway, but whatever. lol. I had a lot of fun in my cosplays, which was my Neo Queen Serenity and Charlotte Elbourne costumes. The first day I wore Serenity, and was stopped every fricken twenty seconds with someone saying 'Can I take you picture?! 8D' OMG It got so tiring after a whiles, because I think I got 60+ pictures of me. There were hardly any Sailor Moon cosplays D8 I saw two Mars, two Venus, a Chibiusa, and a saturn and that was it. The girl playing Chibiusa was sooo cute! Her mom was with her and she was like, 'Can my daughter take a picture with you?' I couldn't say no ^-^ Apparently Serenity was on a scavenger list, because I got stopped for that too >>; It was a lot of fun, but people kept stepping on the back of my train and it got dirty x_x also, my crown broke, and people kept running into my wings and bending them. Oh well... I just have to repair it and make the wings a little better, and wash the dress so no big ^-^ I also got my Vampire Hunter D 3 graphic novel!!! I got home and read it in like... ten minutes. One, I already knew what was going to happen, and two I was too excited xD

Second day I got to cosplay as Charlotte! That was so much fun. First thing I did is I went to the Exhibition hall and stood in front of the Digital Manga press booth and took my picture with the giant poster of Vampire Hunter D. My sis took my picture, and several other people stopped and took it as well ^-^ I was happy. The artist alley was connected to the dealers room, so I went over there trying to find my friend on here ~thenumber42, and I spotted her booth by her Vlad prints. She was such a sweety! I stood there and chatted with her for a while, and I asked about her comic, which she said was going to update soon. She even gave me a preview of it, so I am excited ^^ I bought her Vlad picture, which I had been wanting a print of for a while >w<. After that, my sis and I went to stand in one of the main entrance halls. We cooled off there, and stood there and let people come over to us for pictures, which a lot of people did o_o I am not kidding. I think they thought we were a couple or something, since they always wanted both of us in the pic. So, we posed like we were lovers and a couple and it was fricken hilarious! I was like, I wish I had found a Meier, and my sis was like I am the only Meier you are ever going to get! D< lol. It was a lot of fun. When we went to the dealers room again to get her some yaoi manga or whatever, I spotted another Giotto, which is who she was cosplaying, and I took a picture of her and my sis together. While I was waiting for them to together, someone was staring at me and she said, 'Charlotte?' and I was like yes ^^ and she said 'Good girl!' and gave me a hug ^^ I was happy that someone recognized me x3 also, when we were walking through the cafe, someone said 'Charlotte!' and I looked her way, and she said 'You look really pretty!' I felt really good that people could recognize my costume >/////< Those were definitely the highlight of my day.

I also got my picture taken professionally by these nice guys, and I got a print of it right there for like $10 o_o It was soo good ^^ I had so much fun cosplaying her, but I got the dress a little dirty. Someone had left chocolate flecks on the ground >> Oh well, nothing a little spot remover wont help! 8D OMG I almost forgot!!! I got my picture taken with a Gackt cosplayer ^^ HAHA it was awesome. She was amazing, and her costume was perfect! >8)

I will upload a whole bunch of photos soon, so be patient and you will see some ^^ Also, my sis =ShinigamiSquirrel will upload a whole bunch too so you can see all the amazing costumes! Plus the best ones (ours) xD
